A black and white figure shown in perspective view is captioned 
"Figure 2. Fitting Transfer Gauge to Master Gauge".  The figure 
shows a partial cross section of two circular flanges with one 
flange positioned in front of the other.  The flange shown in the 
back is labeled "Master Gauge", and the flange positioned in front 
is labeled "Transfer Gauge".  The two flanges have equal inside 
and outside diameters.  Three thru holes are shown close to the 
inner diameter of the flanges.  The holes are matched drilled on 
both flanges.  The holes are drawn on a circumference of a circle.  
The master flange in the back contains pressed-in bushings inside 
the holes.  The transfer gauge contains potted bushings inside the
 holes.  Two cylindrical gauge pins are shown in front of the transfer 
gauge.  One is used to precision-mount the potted bushings and 
the other is used as a check pin to verify the exact location of each
 hole.
